Frogman's is a printmaking workshop that is held every year in Omaha at UNO for two weeks in July. There is a design scholarship where people are allowed to come up with the logo that will be used for that year. Above are my thumbnail sketches that I came up with.
Above is the final design sketch that I came up with. The recipient of the scholarship has their design printed on aprons and t-shirts. They also get a free workshop for the summer.
I put my sketch into Illustrator and used the pen tool to color in my image. One of the rules was to use only four colors. I chose yellow, red and blue because they are primary colors and are interesting when those colors are put together. My final color was green for the frog.
